Office Tools Professional presents a new web service called DropFolder.net. Now you'll be able to extend the power of OTP to your customers.  You can transfer documents to and from your clients securely, reliably, and quickly .

No more emailing "Confidential Information" through the internet. DropFolder uses SSL encryption and one of the most recognized sites in the industry to store your data: Rackspace.  

Simply create a temporary password one time and then start sending documents. Your client receives an email with a link and easy to understand instructions. They can also send you documents and you will be notified by email. Their documents will then appear in your document manager ready for you or your staff.

Your client will need no software to use Dropfolder.net. No client management will be necessary for you. DropFolder.net uses the client information in Office Tools Professional. Simply update Office Tools Professional to the latest version and complete the order form to get started. Safely, securely, and quickly.

The datacenter of DropFolder.Net is maintained by Rackspace Hosting which have completed an examination in conformity with Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70 Type II).

Completion of the SAS 70 Type II examination indicates that selected Rackspace's processes, procedures and controls have been formally evaluated and tested by an independent accounting and auditing firm. The examination included the company's controls related to security monitoring, change management, service delivery, support services, backup and environmental controls, logical and physical access.

SAS 70 is designated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as an acceptable method for a user organization's management to obtain assurance about service organization's internal controls without conducting separate assessments.

A service auditor's examination performed in accordance with SAS No. 70 (SAS 70 Audit) is widely recognized, because it represents that a service organization has been through an in- depth audit of their control objectives and control activities, which often include controls over information technology and related processes. A Type II report not only includes the service organization's description of controls, but also includes detailed testing of the design and operating effectiveness of the service organization's controls.

Your client will need:  Nearly any internet browser will work except Mozilla 1.X and Firefox 3.5.7.  We support Internet Explorer 7+, Firefox 3.6+  and Safari 3+.

What you will need:  Office Tools Professional 2009.039 or newer, a local email client (Outlook etc..) and a supported internet browser.

The Tech stuff:  Java, Java Scripting must be enabled, 256 encrypted browser setting with SSL 2.0 or 3.0 are required. Local Fire walls must allow SSL (https) communication and port 3306 must be opened for TCP.
