Since 1988 North 40 Systems has been helping small and medium-sized businesses utilize technology and increase productivity. Shortly after forming North 40 Systems, founder and president Michael Giardina added a staff of technicians, programmers and administrative support. Michael soon realized the need for practice management software for the accounting industry that specifically caters to the small business. After extensive research and development Office Tools was established in 1999, later changing the name to Office Tool Pro in 2003.
